I have been looking for this Nail Polish for a while now, and finally found it!  I really don't know the brand's name, though I would love to, so I could actually find more of it. I saw it in WeHeartIt, it was love at first sight and that's how the haunt started.

I bought it for $12 pesos (when I was walking around randomly with some friends) in a "Barrio Chino's" shop. I was so happy, because it's incredibly pretty! I loved the color, the package, everything! So, even thought it is "too cheap to be true" I decided to try it to see the results, I didn't disliked the formula and the color is wonderful...

But surprisingly it has a 'plus' feature, it is scented, yep, it's one of that nail polishes with  tasty smells, though (in my opinion) it is not tasty at all. I find this smell completely disgusting. It is supposed to be a chocolate scent (stupidly I thought that it was the color's name), and that's the problem.

I don't have anything against the smell in products, but chocolate is a very particular one, and it can easily be too sweet and make me feel kind of sick, I don't see myself using it again, I just can't stand it. 

To be fair, I have to say that my sister didn't felt bothered at all by the smell, she thought that it was fine and pretty much like chocolate. I disagree completely with that, but as i said, it's a taste matter.

So the nail polish isn't a bad purchase at all, it's cheap, looks nice on the nails, and even more on my bedside table. I want to buy other colors, to find out if all of them are just a big NO, or if it's just this one scent that didn't worked for me.

This week I am wearing this color from the brand Thelma & Louise, I really don't know the name of the nail polish, because it's not on the package, and even thought I searched for it in the internet I couldn't find it anywhere, I guess that it's enough saying it's a mint green...?
  This is the first time that I tried this brand and I liked it, it's nothing especial, but it doesn't takes ages to dry, it needs 3 coats or 2 but it looks really pretty and I am in love with this color, especially because here it's still summer, and bright colors are my favorite ones for this time of the year!

Another positive thing about this color is that, if you are like me, a girl who tends to destroy her nails at the first subtle increase of anxiety, well... having very bright colors helps me to notice when I am ruining them before it is too late. That is why my nails are getting finally stronger/longer.

Natural Makeup For School

I don't know what is the case in other countries, but here in Argentina the classes are about to start, and I thought of starring the makeup posts with a natural, easy and quick look for school.

My little sister offered to be the model for this make, she is 13 years old and usually uses only mascara, eyeliner and concealer in a daily basis, but I decided doing a more complete makeup.

I started applying concealer under her eyes and around her lips with a foundation brush, just because it works perfectly, and blends well the concealer leaving a way more natural aspect

Then a little bit of blusher in the apples of the cheeks, bridge of the nose, chin and forehead, just to bring a pop of color to the skin.

If you want to stop the makeup right here, the result will look equally amazing, but I decided going on and emphasizing the eyes and lips.

I used on her eyelids this shiny eyeshadow that looks more like a highlighter actually, focusing the amount on the inner corner and blending it on the rest of the lid.

Then in the waterline I applied a white eyeliner, and a black one in the out side of lashline, I also smudged that black line out so it didn't looked harsh, you can do that with your finger, or a brush like the one in the picture.

Then I curled the eyelashes and applied mascara, there is no need for curling them if you don't feel comfortable doing it, the effect is pretty much similar.

To complete the makeup I used a lip balm and brushed her eyebrows.

You can also choose wearing a lipstick, specially a light one, the one that I picked is very translucent and adds just a little bit of color and shine to the lips.

I don't think that it is necessary to make this clear, but just in case i wan't to say that obviously not every girl wears makeup in the school, and it's completely fine, I even think that the less makeup you wear, the better it is, especially at a young age.  But the blogs main point is makeup and I can't deny that I used to wear makeup when I went to school, not because I felt that I needed, but because I liked it. And i still do.

This wonderful Nail Polish from the brand Impala was one of my Brasil purchases. This is definitely my favorite, I just regret the fact that I didn't bought more. It's a pale lilac candy color, really gorgeous, perfect for summer and I even see myself using it in winter.

These Queens looked wonderful and their makeup was just as incredible as their outfits. I am all about that strong eyes, nude lips and natural blush combination, and loved these looks. My favorite one is Katy Perry's, it's super glamorous and definitely one of the bests of the night.

About eyebrows

Eyebrows are a very important feature of the face, and though it's not a hard task it's incredibly easy to make mistakes. And those can affect the general appearance of a person. Good eyebrows are a must, they provide a naturally attractive aspect and are very important for a nice makeup.

I would recommend having them done by a professional, at least for the very first time and then keeping it nice by yourself, in order to avoid major accidental disasters. But if you are just like me, and would rather taking the risk than giving the control of the situation to someone else, I brought some tips for designing your eyebrows at home, and doing it right.

Before starting I just want to clarify two things about eyebrows that you probably already know: Firstly, they are a matter of taste and personal preferences. And finally, I quote a very common phrase: "eyebrows are sisters, not twins". Therefore, just as our faces aren't symmetrical, it's natural to have slightly different eyebrows.

For starting to give shape to our eyebrows it's necessary to have our face clean and dried.

♡  You'll need a straight object, it can be a ruler, a pencil, etc. Put one of the extremes of the object following the indications and mark the spots of the eyebrow with an eye pencil.

    ♥ From the out side of the tip of your nose to your forehead, in a straight line, to figure out where your eyebrow should start.

Tip:  Making the eyebrow narrower or separate affects the shape of your nose.

    ♥ From the same nose point and passing through the middle of the eye, considering that you are staring directly to the front as looking in the mirror. You will find the higher spot of your eyebrow arch.

    ♥ From the outside of the nostril, passing through the exterior corner of your eye, to obtain where your eyebrow should end.

♡  Now, all you need to do is connecting the spots, using the same straight object, the result will be the perfect delimitation of your eyebrow according to your own face features.

♡  Then, the painful bit, removing all the hairs that are outside of the design. I recommend using tweezers, because the eyes area is very sensitive and needs a soft treatment, and also that tool offers more precision.

♡  This step is optional, I personally think that it is the one that makes the whole difference in certain cases, but not everybody needs it. I'm talking about cutting the hairs that are too long, this avoids that messy look, and provides a more defined shape.

As you can see in the picture the first step is to brush the hairs in certain directions, the inner part you will brush up, and the outer part down. Then you just have to hold them gently with the opposite hand and cut the excess.

And it's done! Following that steps your eyebrows will look gorgeous! It can take time and practice, but it's actually pretty simple having the perfect eyebrows for your face.
